Introduction

Welcome to Happy Sudoku. This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected in connection with the app.

By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and uninstall it.

1. What the app is

• Happy Sudoku is a single-player Sudoku game: classic 9×9, daily challenges, multiple difficulties, plus a 4×4 learning mode and symbol packs.
• No registration or login; there is no user account.
• In-progress games, daily progress, stats, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• The app shows a Google AdMob banner to support offering the game for free.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Stored only on your device (we cannot access it remotely)

• Unfinished game snapshots (board, notes, elapsed time, mistake count, etc.)
• Daily challenge completion records
• Aggregated stats by difficulty (clears, time, win rate, etc.)
• Preferences (theme, symbol pack, text size, onboarding seen flag, etc.)

This data stays on your device by default. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data usually deletes it. We do not upload this progress to our own servers as part of normal gameplay.

2.2 Advertising-related data (processed by the ads SDK)

The app integrates Google AdMob. Where permitted by the system and your choices, advertising services may process items such as:

• Device and system information (model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, etc.)
• Advertising identifiers (e.g. IDFA), depending on App Tracking Transparency and system settings
• Ad request, impression, and click measurement
• IP address and general network context (handled by the ad provider under its policies)

This information is used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. It is processed by Google and similar partners under their privacy policies and may involve processing outside your country (including the United States).

2.3 Information you provide voluntarily

If you email us, we receive your email address and message content (and any screenshots you attach), solely to respond and handle your request.

2.4 What we do not collect

• Legal name, national ID, home address, or phone number
• Contacts, photo library, precise location, microphone, or health data
• Payment card details (the app has no in-app purchases)
• Account passwords (there is no account system)

2.5 Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@yureading.top and we will address it after verification.

3. How we use information

• Gameplay: local saves, daily challenge, and stats
• Advertising: keeping the app free to use
• Support: responding to emails you send us
• Legal / safety: complying with applicable law and preventing abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell local game progress as a way to identify you in the real world.

4. Third-party services

Third parties have their own policies. Within their processing scope, those policies govern. We choose common, reviewable providers where practical, but we cannot take responsibility for all third-party conduct.

5. Your controls

• Limit ad tracking (iOS): Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; deny permission for this app, or decline tracking prompts when shown.
• Reset advertising identifier: follow Apple’s guidance under Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
• Delete local data: uninstall the app or clear the app’s data.
• Stop using the app: uninstalling stops our app’s local processing; ad-network retention follows their policies.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information in support communications. No internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. For material changes, we will try to provide reasonable notice (for example via App Store release notes). Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
